Freeform Crochet Necklace

For my soul sister Arlene's 40th birthday, I wanted to make something quite special for her. As I've recently started an affair with freeform crochet, I decided to make a fabulous statement necklace.

It's even more awesome that her favorite color is green since I have just learned how to make a leaf motif :)

Busy, Busy as Business Booms!

Wow, it has been an auspicious week for millicentmelissa Handmade Accessories!

After launching our barefoot sandals a week ago, we started getting a lot of inquiries then confirmed orders! The biggest one was probably the fifteen (15) earrings which the customer needed in two days. It was a challenge but a welcome one :)

Getting Ready for Christmas!

Been quite busy these past few weeks, crocheting as if in a race, readying my Christmas gifts for all the lovely girls in my life. Giving you a glimpse with the pictures below of the ongoing project.

Now, if I could only find a crochet project that could be a Christmas gift for the guys :)

Project Update: for Maira...Finished!

Finally finished on the last week of October the 3 necklaces which Maira ordered and here they are:

Short crochet necklace in purple, crayola green and navy blue
with Korean metal chain and lobster findings

Really hoped Maira liked them. I made her promise to send me pictures of her wearing them but I know she's quite busy with her wedding which, I just remembered...is today! So I wish Mai and Allan all the best and may they have a blessed life together :-)

Project: for Maira

Been busy with another commissioned project, this time from my friend Maira who is now in the Middle East (forgot if it was Bahrain or Dubai, sorry Mai).

Anyway, she asked me to make 3 necklaces for her with these designs she really liked:
